Jordan began working with Japanese artist Haba Issei in Calabasas, California in 2017. Since 2022, he has taken annual trips to Japan to collaborate not only with Haba but also with a growing network of artists, designers, galleries, and companies across the country. In 2023, he served as the host cohort for TAMA Art University’s “Pacific Rim” study abroad program, supporting cross-cultural exchange through design. He held an exhibition at the Watari-um Museum of Contemporary Art in Harajuku, where his work is also sold seasonally in the museum’s gift shop. Following his solo exhibition Aura, he also interacted with Seiko Epson in Nagano, deepening his engagement with Japanese industry and technology. His creative practice and perspective have been featured in POPEYE Magazine (Japan, 2024) and Milk Magazine (Hong Kong, 2024).

During my light exhibition in Tokyo, a representative from Epson attended and was moved by the narrative behind the work. They invited me to Epson’s headquarters to collaborate on a campaign for their newest products, blending design with technology. This experience highlighted my approach to storytelling through light and space in partnership with one of Japan’s most innovative companies.

On February 14, 2025, I presented Aura at Courtyard Hiroo in Tokyo, a light exhibition at the intersection of technology, spatial storytelling, and metaphysical exploration. The show invited participants to experience how unseen energy fields could manifest through light, space, and collective presence. Aura embodied my belief that storytelling in design goes beyond words, using immersive environments to connect people to ideas larger than themselves.

In 2024, I collaborated with GeekWatch, one of Japan’s foremost watch collectors, on an exhibition at the Watarium Museum of Art in Harajuku, Shibuya. Together we created custom watch stands designed to reflect the story of each unique timepiece, uniting craftsmanship with narrative design. The exhibition was featured in Milk magazine Hong Kong and Popeye magazine Japan, underscoring its cultural impact.
